Ram Trucks Supports Country Music and U.S. Military Veterans

Mark your calendars. On December 29th, 2012, Ram Trucks is planning the ultimate country music concert. Seems like a far way off, though, right? That's because the American truck manufacturer is really planning this one out. In fact, they're even going as far as to make the planning of the concert an event in and of itself.

Known as the "Road to the RamŽ Jam," the company is planning to unveil the five key artists that will play at the Ram Jam concert in December. What's more, they're also giving fans multiple chances to win great prizes along the way, including collectible posters and vinyl records. And if you think that sounds pretty sweet, we haven't even gotten to the best part!

Each of the five artists playing the Ram Jam concert will be given a Ram 1500 Laramie Longhorn edition truck to use until early 2013. And when they're done, Ram is planning to auction each truck off, with the proceeds going to a military-focused charity of each artist's choice.

So far, the only playing at the Ram Jam concert to be revealed is Kellie Pickler, and she's decided to donate the proceeds from the auction of her Ram 1500 Laramie Longhorn to the USO. It might seem early to make up her mind, considering the fact that the auction is still about a year away, but Pickler seems quite certain about her choice.

"The first thing I learned to drive was my grandpa's truck, so I'm definitely a truck girl," Pickler said. "I'm excited to be part of Ram Truck's Road to the Ram Jam. We're going to have a lot of fun on that 'Road' -- me and my Laramie. I'm also excited that we will be auctioning off my Ram truck at the end of the year to benefit our veterans in need."1

Jeff D'Ambrosio Auto Group, located at 1221 E Lancaster Ave, Downingtown, PA, hopes you have fun on the "Road to the RamŽ Jam," and that you pick up a prize or two along the way and even better luck if you plan on trying to win big at the Ram 1500 Laramie Longhorn auction.
